KAT Strength & Conditioning was founded in 2016 by Adam Posthuma, disheartened by the inevitability of injuries that come with aging, especially after spending years as a competitive athlete. Although physical atheletism does noticeably decline after the age of 30, the issue doesn’t stem from just the ageing body itself, but rather it is from the approach to the problem. With ageing also comes familial, work and financial responsibilities, each demanding a bit of our time. New gym memberships and popular workout programs only work to an extent, as care must be taken to not reintroduce injuries because the approach was insufficient. The missing element is guidance–you’ve never seen a sports team win without a coach before, have you?
At KAT, we focus on extending the lifespan of athleticism in former and current athletes.
